Breast Lift
Breast lift can reshape the breasts, remove excess skin and bring the nipples to their original or normal location. Breast augmentation can be done in conjunction with breast lift. Breast implants can be inserted either under the breast tissue or under the muscles.

Risks
Breast lift surgery has risks and complications that Dr. Binker will discuss with you at the time of your visit, but keep in mind that breast lift consists of removing excess skin around the areola and the bottom of the breast and elevating the nipple and areola. Depending on the degree of the lift needed, the scar could be just around the areola or around the areola and from the areola down to the crease line under the breast. If needed the size of the areola can be reduced. Keep in mind that breast lift will leave permanent scars. Each person scars differently; a woman with only slightly sagging breasts will have smaller scars.

Recovery
We advise our patients to have someone drive them home after surgery and help them for the first two days. Patients should avoid lift any type of weights, exercising, or get lots sun for at least three weeks after the surgery. May return to work after two weeks as long as ¡t does not involve heavy lifting.
